Sally has been performing as a professional vocalist for over 13 years with popular bands such as Next of Kin, The New Black, A Minor Groove and Jaxon. Sally also volunteers her time to direct a choir amongst other creative pursuits.
Sally's strong and versatile vocal style ensures that a range of genres can be performed beautifully with ease. Sally is a consummate professional and her energy on stage is contagious and translates to the audience. She brings a wealth of talent, experience and of course good looks to The Stilettos.
Tina has been performing professionally since landing her first job as a lead vocalist/entertainer at Tarzan's Theatre Restaurant in 1992. Since then, Tina has performed in professional cabaret shows throughout clubs in Sydney and Canberra, in musical theatre productions, nationally televised concerts and events, corporate events, with bands, vocal trios, acoustic duos, wedding ceremonies, and the like.
Tina has a great ear for harmonies and possesses a powerful and rich vocal quality. She loves performing in a team, thinks ego is definitely a dirty word and her background in comedy and theatre restaurant brings a quick wit, personality and cheekiness to the group.
Janie has performed in theatre restaurants, corporate and cabaret shows since the mid 80s. Attracted to performance at an early age, she originally trained in Ballroom and Latin American dancing which she taught for many years and competed at professional level. Vocally she trained with the late Gery Scott in Canberra and at the Peggy Still School of Music in Atlanta, USA.
She has a passion for musical theatre and has performed leading roles with companies in Australia and in the USA. Notable performances include Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity, for which she received a CAT Award for Best Actress in a Musical, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Muzzy Van Hossmere in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Demeter in Cats, Anita in West Side Story and most recently Judy Garland in Boy From Oz.
